People and Culture Officer
Job Overview :
The People and Culture Officer plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, supporting the organization's human resources functions, and ensuring the well-being and professional growth of employees
Responsibilities :
- Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment that supports the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of employees
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and relationship-building
- Assist in ensuring compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and assist in implementing necessary adjustments
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions. Additionally, assist in managing employee separations, including exit interviews, etc
- Maintain accurate employee records and update People and Culture databases accordingly
- Serve as a point of contact and liaison with external parties, such as recruitment agencies, universities, training providers, and employee assistance programs
- Coordinate and administer internship programs as assigned
- Provide support for People and Culture team initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a related field
- Fresh graduates with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A people person with demonstrated excellent organizational abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote or virtual work environment
- Excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships remotely
- Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace
