Job Description

The opportunity

This position is to leads agile practice and processes, advising agile teams to ensure highly functional and productive team

Individual Accountabilities
  • Coaches’ different levels of hierarchy through agile principles & practices
  • Proactively provides real-time feedback to keep delivery on track and address issues as they arise
  • Reinforces target agile behaviors
  • Facilitates agile events, processes; assists team with trouble shooting
  • Facilitates the adoption of agile principles & practices
  • Helps educate the squad on Agile practices Identifies Agile Team improvement opportunities
  • Facilitates resolving obstacles & escalates where necessary
  • Focuses squads on value creation
  • Facilitates and actively participates in Agile events
  • Work closely with the PO and ensure the technical backlog is maintained
  • Supporting and educating the PO, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Regularly monitor the progress using the JIRA dashboard and suggest action items to overcome any impediments
  • Identifies obstacles with coaching
  • Identifies opportunities to increase velocity
  • Sees and understands actions
  • Understands importance of cooperation & information sharing
  • Knowledge of company culture
  • Positive impact to specific organizational
  • Solid contributor and often enables others to contribute as well
Job Requirements
  • Demonstrates understanding of how technology supports Manulife's strategy
