- Maintaining and repair of all electrical appliances, including electrical panels & lighting, maintenance work request and installations of lift/s, dumb waiters, sliding doors, THOR Guard system, golf buggies, boom lift & scissor lift, PW Water dispenser units.
- Maintain and repair of clean water pipe, UV water filter system, black water/waste water (toilet / toilet waste).
- Maintaining and repairing cafeteria equipment, (whether heating or cooling).
- Assisting, carrying out and monitoring end to end events, including to set up the needs for events, electrical, Sound system and music / band equipment.
- Administer, carry out, assign and handle tickets received via the Campus Help Desk. Collaborate and liaise with the cross function management team and control the progress of work orders from users, manage complaints and analyse budget variations and provide explanations when required.
- Set goals for performance and deadlines in line with BSJ plans and communicate them clearly to staff and technicians.
- Ensure adherence to BSJ policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit performance reports of the equipment as required by the line manager.Inspect and evaluate completed work of employees and third party vendors to verify that work carried out have been completed correctly and that schools facilities and equipment conform to the assigned specifications and safety standards.
- Coaching, new workers and technicians by developing their skills to diagnose challenges faced on projects; machinery or equipment problems according to the BSJ’s health and safety standards.
- To be familiar with, and uphold all, Safeguarding and Child Protection policies. Responsible use of data inline with BSJ Data policies and procedures.
- In liaison with the Line Manager, take responsibility for upholding Health and Safety practice within the working areas and be responsible for completing risk assessments/near misses as appropriate.
- To execute any other relevant tasks assigned by the line manager or the head of department
